The SITREK Cyber & Tech Summit 2026, held on 4–5 March 2026 at Cinnamon Life, City of Dreams Colombo, marked a significant milestone in advancing cybersecurity, security technologies, and digital resilience in Sri Lanka.

  • Dragonfruit AI, represented by Shivang Agarwal, showcasing AI-powered video analytics for advanced threat detection
  • Eagle Eye Networks, represented by Kiran Sonar, presenting cloud-based video surveillance and security solutions
  • Sri Lankan robotics startup Scouts, represented by Kalana Muthumuni, demonstrating autonomous drone technology for security monitoring and emergency response

These innovations highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, and autonomous systems in enhancing situational awareness, operational efficiency, and rapid response capabilities.

 

Launch of SIDEKICK: A New Approach to Security Management

Another key milestone of the summit was the launch of SIDEKICK, a digital platform developed by SITREK Group to support modern security operations.

The platform integrates essential operational functions into a unified system, including:

  • Visitor management
  • Vehicle parking management
  • Incident reporting and management
  • Venue management

By centralizing these capabilities, SIDEKICK enhances operational visibility, coordination, and decision-making across facilities and events.
